Structural fire design
Developing and implementing of modern building structures is a huge challenge. Preserving such structures in cases of fire is a major safety goal.
In addition to prescriptive requirements (a classic example: fire resistance R30/R60/R90) and within the scope of performance based design, real fire loads on site will be estimated, a time-dependent heat release rate determined and a calculation of room temperatures carried out (natural fire design). These room temperatures are taken into consideration in structural analyses of the building.
Structural analyses in cases of fire are carried out by our experts in close cooperation with structural engineers, thus granting best possible designs of modern support structures.
